Parallel AI coding agents shootout

TESTING…

Tools that run several AI coding agents at the same time, each on its own task or git worktree, and then let you review all the changes in one place. Orca, Kandev and OpenHands are workspaces for this; Ruflo is a multi-agent harness; Hermes Agent is a self-improving agent.

Testing in progress. Rocky hasn't published a verdict yet, so nothing on this page is a result.

Claim vs measured

Results coming. Here’s what Rocky will measure:

  • Correct, mergeable changes on the same 3 independent issues
  • Merge conflicts between agents
  • Cost and wall-clock time
  • Setup effort

Claims being checked: “5 GitHub repos that let you run multiple AI coding agents in parallel” (post) · “Run many AI coding tasks at once, then review all changes in one place” (post)

Sneak peek

No sneak peeks yet. When Rocky starts the run, in-progress notes show up here first.

Outputs & screenshots

Screenshots and output files will go here: terminal runs, generated files, charts. Nothing yet.

Install friction

Not measured yet. 1 bar = effortless, 5 bars = painful.

Who it's for

Developers juggling several coding tasks at once.

Test plan

Give every tool the same 3 independent issues on a sample repo, with the same model and budget. Measure correct merged changes, conflicts, cost and wall time.

Notes so far

  • Nothing yet.

Rerun bundle

📦 When the test is done, the Dockerfile, exact commands, logs, outputs and a 20-second clip will appear here so you can rerun everything yourself.
